What is breathwork?

Breathwork is a guided practice that uses intentional breathing patterns to help regulate your nervous system, gently move stored stress, and reconnect you with your body. Unlike simply taking deep breaths, this is a full experience combining breath, sound and guidance so real change can happen in the body, not just the mind.

What is 9D Breathwork?

A guided breathwork experience delivered through immersive headphones, layering music, frequencies, spoken guidance and somatic cues to help your nervous system drop into a deeply receptive state. You still lead the pace. The audio simply makes the experience more supported and complete.

Do I need any experience?

No. Most of my clients have never done breathwork before. You don't need to know how to meditate, sit still, or breathe a certain way. You simply arrive. I guide the rest.

What happens during a session?

We begin with conversation and set an intention for our time together. You lie down, put on headphones and eye covers, and I guide you throughout the whole experience. Your breathing gently shifts your nervous system, allowing stored stress and old patterns to soften. We finish with integration and a clear next step you can take back into your life.

Is breathwork safe?

Yes. Every session is designed to work with your nervous system rather than push against it. You stay in control throughout. You can slow down, pause, or stop at any time. Nothing is forced.

Will I have to relive my past?

Accepted Answer

No. There's no need to talk through old stories, revisit specific memories, or explain anything you don't want to. The body knows how to release without the mind having to relive.

What if I get emotional?

Emotion is welcome, and completely normal. Some people cry, some laugh, some feel a wave of quiet. All of it is safe. I'll be with you the whole way through.

Is it like meditation?

It's not. Meditation gently observes the nervous system. Breathwork actively shifts it. Most people find breathwork faster and more embodied than meditation alone, especially when it's hard to sit still or switch off.

Who is this work for?

Private 1:1 and 2:1 sessions are open to men and women, including: adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, grief or life transitions; teenagers aged 13–20 building confidence and emotional regulation; new mothers seeking nervous system support after pregnancy and birth; parents wanting stronger co-regulation with their children; and professionals, carers and business owners living with chronic stress. The Rewire Circle is women only. Parent & Child workshops are for children aged 6–12 with a parent or caregiver.

Can teenagers take part?

Yes. I work with teenagers aged 13–20 in private sessions to build emotional resilience, confidence and calm. Parents are welcome to be part of the intake conversation.

For children aged 6–12 with a parent or caregiver, these workshops give you shared tools to regulate together, so your child grows up knowing what safety in the body actually feels like.

Support for new mothers

Motherhood asks a lot of the nervous system. Private sessions offer a space to release what pregnancy, birth and early motherhood have quietly stored, so you can meet yourself and your child from a calmer place.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people notice a shift after one session. Deeper, lasting change tends to happen inside a short series, where the work has time to stabilise. We'll talk about what's right for you, with no pressure to commit to more than the next step.

Are there any reasons I shouldn't do breathwork?

Accepted Answer

Breathwork is generally very safe, but it isn't advised in some situations, including current pregnancy, severe cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled epilepsy, recent surgery, and some serious mental health conditions. If you're unsure, mention it on your enquiry and we'll figure out what's right for you together.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes. Private sessions can be 1:1 or 2:1 with a partner, family member or close friend. Same depth of work, two people held in the same room.

Where are sessions held?

Accepted Answer

Private sessions run from the Wollert home studio. The Rewire Circle runs at partner clinics in Reservoir, Kalkallo and Fawkner. I also travel across Melbourne's northern suburbs for private and event work.

What should I wear or bring?

Comfortable, loose clothing and a water bottle. Everything else - mat, bolster, blanket, eye mask, headphones - is provided.
